In need of Autism, Nurture and Behaviour Experienced Teaching Assistants

Level 2 and above qualification required

Recent experience of working in a Primary School Setting is a necessity

Teaching Personnel have seen an increase in schools in the Rossendale Burrough requiring SEN experienced Teaching Assistants to work with small groups and on a 1:1 basis who are in need of extra support. The children's needs vary from Autism, ADHD, Speech and Language and Social and Emotional issues. It is crucial that Practitioners have had solid experience with supporting children with Special Educational Needs and who are passionate and dedicated about their career.

The roles we receive are increasing every week and we are in demand of staff who are qualified at either Level 2 or above. If you are from a care support background, or you have only had experience in residential care then you still have transferable skills which can be utilised effectively in Primary mainstream settings.

The positions can differ from being on a full and part time basis. Some of these children have statements and Education Care plans so a good understanding of IEP's and EHCP's is crucial.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
