Start Date: September 2025 
Contract Type: Full-time (Monday to Friday)
Salary: £31,650 - £45,646 + SEN Allowance

Located in the beautiful rural setting of North Devon, this school provides a nurturing and structured environment for young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and associated learning difficulties. The school places a strong focus on therapeutic support, personalised learning, and holistic development, helping students grow in confidence and ability.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons tailored to individual student needs

• Support the development of literacy and communication skills

• Work closely with SEN support staff and therapists to deliver a holistic approach to education

• Promote a positive, safe and stimulating learning environment

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

• Experience teaching students with SEN, ideally in an SEMH setting

• Strong classroom management skills and a nurturing teaching approach

• A passion for inclusive education and making a real difference
