Are you looking to become an SEN Teaching Assistant in a school near you?

Teaching Personnel are supporting a client Primary school in central Liverpool with their recruitment need of an SEN (Autism specific) Teaching Assistant on a full time basis from January 2020.

The Primary school are requiring an SEN Teaching Assistant, specialising in Autism. The school is putting extra provisions in place to support agroup of 5 pupils who are on the autistic spectrum (mild to moderate) and require additional, tailored support with their studies. 

The ideal candidate for the role will have previous experience working with Autism and will be caring, adaptable, patient and passionate about supporting pupils with SEN.

Highlights of the SEN Teaching Assistant post:

-          Full-time SEN Teaching Assistant

-          Start date – January 2020

-          Supporting 5 identified pupils aged across KS1 and KS2 with Autism

-          January to July initially, support is likely to be needed the following academic years

-          Primary school based just outside of Central Liverpool

-          Working  1:1 and in small groups to ensure they are well supported with their studies and reach their full potential.

-          Building a strong rapport with the pupils

-          Previous experience working with young people and Autism(ASD) is essential for the role

-          Earn GBP1140 per month, paid weekly.

The school has a well structured, supportive leadership and pastoral team. As a result, the successful SEN Teaching Assistant, supporting with Autism and learning, will be fully equipped in their new role and will receive a full induction from the school.
