Job description

SEN 1:1 Tutor – Stockport (SK7) | Flexible In-Person Role

Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated SEN 1:1 Tutor to support students in the SK7 Stockport area.

This is a rewarding role delivering personalised 1:1 tuition to learners with SEN/SEMH needs, helping them build confidence and re-engage with learning.


Role Details

  • Location: SK7 Stockport
  • In-person 1:1 tuition (home/school/community)
  • Monday–Friday, school hours (flexible)

Responsibilities

  • Deliver tailored 1:1 support sessions
  • Adapt learning to individual needs
  • Support progress in core subjects
  • Build confidence and engagement

Requirements

  • Experience working with SEN/young people
  • Patient and supportive approach
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
