Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a dedicated and inspiring GCSE Tutor to support students in the SK7 Stockport area. This is a fantastic opportunity to work 1:1 with learners, helping them build confidence, close learning gaps, and achieve their academic goals.

Role Overview

• Location: SK7, Stockport
• In-person tuition (home, school, or community settings)
• Flexible daytime hours (Monday–Friday, school hours)
• 1:1 GCSE tuition delivery

What You’ll Be Doing

• Deliver engaging GCSE-level tuition in Maths, English, or Science
• Tailor learning sessions to individual student needs
• Support learners who may have SEN/SEMH needs or be disengaged from education
• Track progress and build student confidence
• Help students prepare for exams and improve outcomes

What We’re Looking For

• Experience teaching or tutoring GCSE subjects
• Strong subject knowledge in core curriculum areas
• Experience supporting young people (SEN experience desirable)
• Patient, motivating, and adaptable approach
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
