GCSE Tutor – Stockport (SK7) | Flexible In-Person Role | Make a Real Impact
Are you passionate about helping young people succeed in their GCSEs?
Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a dedicated and inspiring GCSE Tutor to support students in the SK7 Stockport area. This is a fantastic opportunity to work 1:1 with learners, helping them build confidence, close learning gaps, and achieve their academic goals.
Role Overview
- Location: SK7, Stockport
- In-person tuition (home, school, or community settings)
- Flexible daytime hours (Monday–Friday, school hours)
- 1:1 GCSE tuition delivery
What You’ll Be Doing
- Deliver engaging GCSE-level tuition in Maths, English, or Science
- Tailor learning sessions to individual student needs
- Support learners who may have SEN/SEMH needs or be disengaged from education
- Track progress and build student confidence
- Help students prepare for exams and improve outcomes
What We’re Looking For
- Experience teaching or tutoring GCSE subjects
- Strong subject knowledge in core curriculum areas
- Experience supporting young people (SEN experience desirable)
- Patient, motivating, and adaptable approach
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
