Role: SEN 1:1 TA
Pay: £11.85-12.50
Working hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday
Contract: Long-term, until at least July 2024, possibly longer
The Head Teacher and SENCO of a reputable Primary School located in Sefton are on the look-out for an experienced practitioner to work alongside a child in Year 1. This is a full-time role Monday-Friday term time only working from 8:45-15:15, there may be occasions where you may be required to support the SENCO during meetings with outside agencies.
This child is challenging, but rewarding to work with and needs additional support, after re-locating and starting at the school in September. The child responds well to smiley faces, scaffolded tasks, a positive influence, and a patient manner.
The Head Teacher and SENCo are looking for a compassionate practitioner and can accommodate for Level 2 or Level 3 qualifications. To be considered you must hold a Childcare, Teaching Assistant or Health and Social Care related qualification. The Head Teacher has also expressed she is particularly interested in candidates who have experience of using PECS, this skill set would be advantageous however not essential. Key Stage 1 experience would be advantageous however not essential. Knowledge of working alongside younger children would be beneficial for this role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
