The SEN branch of Teaching Personnel is currently seeking Teaching Assistants for day-to-day supply work as well as short to medium term assignments across the Primary year groups within special schools and provisions for Autism and SEMH (social emotional mental health) attached to mainstream schools. Our client schools span SE London, including Sutton, Croydon, Wandsworth, Lambeth, Kingston and Richmond and offer friendly and stimulating environments in which to gain further school-based experience.

Prior experience working with children with SEN or disabilities is mandatory and training in PECS, Makaton, British Sign Language and Team-teach Positive Intervention would be beneficial.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
