EYFS-KS1 SEMH Teaching Assistant
Key Information:
- Full Time
- Hours: 8:30 – 15:00
- Weekly Pay
- Enhanced DBS
- Pay Rate: £11.85 per hour.
- Term time only
The role:
A reputable school in Hale (L24) is looking for a nurturing and approachable individual with a strong SEMH background, with excellent organisational and communicational skills who will be able to support teachers both within and outside of the classroom. The ideal candidate will focus on maintaining a positive learning environment for pupils with additional SEMH needs across EYFS-KS1 classes. This role will lend itself well to an individual with previous experience working with children with SEMH, however this is not an essential requirement.
- Be able to adapt support depending on pupils needs.
- Must be willing to support pupils Learning and Social skills.
- Willing to intervene if a challenging situation arises.
- Support with Phonics, Literacy and Numeracy intervention.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
