Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people? We are currently seeking dedicated and resilient Teaching Assistants to join a specialist school in Guildford that supports children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
About the Role:
This is a unique opportunity to work within a supportive and dynamic school setting that provides tailored education to pupils with additional behavioural and emotional needs. As a Teaching Assistant, you'll play a key role in helping students overcome barriers to learning, while supporting their academic and emotional development.
Key Responsibilities:

Providing 1:1 and small group support to students across Key Stages

Assisting the class teacher in implementing individualised learning plans

Helping students regulate behaviour and build positive relationships

Supporting pupils both in and out of the classroom setting
What We’re Looking For:

Previous experience working with children with SEMH, SEN, or in alternative education settings
-
A calm, patient and empathetic approach
-
Strong behaviour management and resilience
-
A genuine passion for inclusive education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
