The Role:
You will be responsible for supporting classroom teachers in providing the best support possible to students ranging in the ages 5-25 years old. This school specialises in providing care for pupils with the following additional needs:
- Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD)
- Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties
- Specific learning difficulties (e.g., dyslexia)
- Complex emotional trauma
- Moderate learning disabilities
- PTSD
- ODD
This is a specialist educational setting that supports children and young people with complex needs. It offers a nurturing environment with tailored learning plans, therapeutic support, and vocational opportunities to help pupils develop independence and life skills. Who We Are Looking For:
- In depth SEMH experience with young people
- General SEN(D) experience with young people
- A patient, resilient, and caring individual with a compassionate approach to supporting children and young people
- Able to collaborate with teachers and other support staff
- Understanding of positive behaviour support strategies

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
