SEMH Teacher

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting on behalf of a client school in North Tyneside, to recruit a full time, experienced Secondary School Teacher for a Pupil Referral Unit, commencing in ASAP.  The successful candidate must have a QTS qualification, experience working with SEMH students and be ready to fully commit to the role. You will be working with children and young people who struggle engaging and learning within a classroom, often experiencing difficulty with:

-          Disruptive and uncooperative behaviour

-          Anxiety

-          Withdrawn attitudes

-          Frustrated, angry and aggressive tempers

-          Truancy

The client school will welcome candidates with a background in teaching GCSE, with an awareness and understanding of the curriculum.
