Job description

Are you ready to inspire and support young people who need it most? We are looking for a compassionate and committed teacher to join our specialist SEMH school this September. This is more than just a teaching role – it’s a chance to transform lives, helping pupils overcome barriers to learning and develop the confidence, skills and resilience they need for the future.

Our schools supports children and young people who face social, emotional and mental health challenges. Many have experienced adversity or trauma, and we provide them with a safe, structured and caring environment in which they can thrive.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS) with a strong understanding of SEMH needs

  • Someone who is creative, adaptable, and committed to inclusive practice

  • A positive role model who can build strong relationships based on trust, empathy and high expectations

  • Excellent classroom management and a trauma-informed approach

  • Previous experience working in SEMH or alternative provision is an advantage, but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
