SEMH Specialist Teaching Assistant

Job description

Are you interested in making a real difference to the lives of children, in a specialised and dedicated environment?
Your job role will be demanding, frequently challenging and often complex. You will benefit from the full support of the dynamic, caring and effective team that you will be joining.
The majority of pupils will have a SEN statement and experience of working with SEMH children is preferred. You will be able to demonstrate high quality planning and the ability to motivate children to positive outcomes.
To teach children with behavioural, emotional and social development needs requires a specific type of character.
You will have:
A belief that young people can change.
The ability to make boundaries of behaviour clear in a firm but friendly manner.
A broad perspective at all times, and a willingness to learn about young people.
A Robust, professional attitude and committed to your continued development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
