Are you an experienced tutor able to deliver your subject specialisms to GSCE level or above?

Are you a qualified teacher looking for flexible and rewarding work without the stress of teaching a whole class?

 

Teaching Personnel have an increasing amount of opportunities for  individuals with strong Maths/English/Science and/or other subject specialisms to provide tailored tuition to pupils who are struggling with the subject.

The different roles are on a flexible temporary basis to help raise attainment with identified students from a looked after or vulnerable background which has affected their education.

As a Tutor, you will provide interventional support to pupils in smaller groups and on 1:1 when required either within a school, public library or care home setting.

Key Aspects of the Tutor role:

-          Flexible Tutor

-          Supporting pupils who are grade borderline throughout KS3 and KS4

-          Starting ASAP on a flexible, temporary basis (e.g. couple of days or hours a week)

-          Providing tailored tuition Key Stage 4 to prepare pupils for upcoming exams

-          Planning sessions in line with where the support is needed with guidance from the school

-          Have a flexible and adaptable approach to learning

-          Paid GBP10-30 per hour, depending on experience and levels of qualification

The successful candidate for the role of Tutor will have excellent subject knowledge of their current Secondary subject specialism curriculum and able to support with Key Stage 4 students education. You will be experienced or confident in proving tuition, whether it be from a teaching career, tutoring or hold a degree which covers your subject.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later
