Teaching Assistant required for a Secondary school in Berkshire

Are you looking for a new role? Have your circumstances changed and you would like part time work? Do you enjoy helping children within education?

A secondary school in Berkshire are currently looking for a Teaching Assistant for up to five days a week from September. The school is light and attractive and they have purpose-built specialist teaching spaces for a range of different curriculum subjects. The schools music suite, computing area and performance space are recently completed and their Sports Hall and science laboratories are modern and well-equipped. The pupils wear their uniform with pride and the school insists pupils look smart and develop good learning habits in class.

You will need a supportive and engaging personality and have a desire to make a difference to a children's education and have an extensive knowledge and experience working with children who have Special Education Needs. There are opportunities for both day to day supply and long term positions and there are now several opportunities for those looking for work in the Berkshire area.

An ideal candidate will have:

  • The ability to build good relationships with children, teachers and parents
  • Team Teach trained
  • A strong regard for pupil safety and well-being
