Level 3 Qualified Teaching Assistant – Northumberland Secondary Schools

Full time, part time, and flexible opportunities available, competitive salary dependent on experience.

Teaching Personnel is recruiting Level 3 Qualified Teaching Assistants to support secondary schools across Northumberland. These roles offer flexible working opportunities and the chance to make a real impact on pupils' learning and development.

We're working with a variety of educational settings that require skilled and passionate Teaching Assistants who can support classroom learning, provide targeted interventions, and contribute positively to the school environment.

Please note: A recognised Level 3 Teaching Assistant (or equivalent childcare/education) qualification is essential for this role. Applications without the relevant qualification will not be considered.

What you'll be doing:

  • Providing one to one or small group support to pupils
  • Assisting with classroom management and behaviour support
  • Supporting pupils with additional learning needs where required

You need:

  • Recognised Level 3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent qualification (essential)
  • Previous experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Positive, proactive, and flexible approach to work

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
