Job Title: Graduate Teaching Assistant
Start Date: March 2026
Location: Middlesbrough
Contract: Full-time
Salary: £90-100 a day (Dependent on experience)
Are you a recent graduate eager to inspire and support young people in their learning journey? We are seeking a passionate Graduate Teaching Assistant to work in a school in Middlesbrough, and help create a nurturing, motivating, and inclusive classroom environment.

- Supporting pupils both 1:1 and in group settings, helping them achieve their potential.

- Applying and developing your own subject knowledge while gaining practical classroom experience.
- Contributing to a safe, respectful, and harmonious learning environment where all pupils can thrive.
What we’re looking for:
- A relevant degree or equivalent (a degree in education is preferred but not essential).
- Previous classroom experience (desirable but not essential).
- A commitment to promoting values such as respect, kindness, tolerance, and ambition.
- DBS check (or willingness to apply)
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of classroom management and pupil behaviour.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
