Teaching Assistants Needed - Ebbw Vale

*Full time, Part time and Ad Hoc roles available*

GBP60 - GBP70 a day

Start date: 22nd February (or earlier if requirements in the Hub school during lockdown)

We are currently seeking enthusiastic, inclusive Teaching Assistants for schools in the Ebbw Vale area.  The roles available will be supporting pupils aged 11 -16 in a mainstream Secondary school.

Ideal role for graduates looking to develop their school based experience before commencing teacher training or for Teaching Assistants with recent experience in schools.

Teaching Assistant Role:

• Working with groups of children or working with pupils on a 1:1 basis
• Supporting pupils in core subjects
• Working with children who have Additional Learning Needs (ALN)
• Supporting the class teacher across the whole class
• Uphold a strong classroom presence whilst motivating and inspiring all pupils

Requirements:

You must have at least 3 months experience (personal or professional) supporting children or other vulnerable individuals.

You will also need to have an enhanced DBS on the update service, be EWC registered and be able to provide 2 references when asked. (We can help with this!)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
