Secondary Supply Teacher (QTS) – Salisbury

Teaching Personnel is seeking a passionate and reliable Supply Teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) to support a secondary school in Salisbury starting in September 2025.
This part-time opportunity is ideal for teachers looking to maintain a healthy work-life balance while continuing to inspire and support students in the classroom.
About the Role:
As a Supply Teacher, you will deliver pre-planned lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 in the absence of the usual class teacher. You’ll be expected to manage the classroom, maintain positive behaviour, and ensure pupils remain engaged and on task. The school has a strong inclusive ethos, with pupils who may have a range of learning needs, including mild to moderate SEN.
Key Responsibilities:

Delivering set lessons in line with the national curriculum

Managing classroom behaviour and promoting a focused environment

Supporting students with varying abilities, including those with SEN

Ensuring continuity of learning during staff absences

Collaborating with school staff and following school policies
Ideal Candidates Will Have:

QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)

Experience teaching secondary-aged pupils

Strong behaviour management and communication skills

Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
