Secondary Teacher

Job description

Due to the pandemic, Teaching Personnel is seeking newly qualified and fully qualified Teachers of all subjects to provide specialist cover in local secondary schools on a temporary basis. To start in September, if not before, you will be teaching your specialist subjects with the possibility to have to plan and prepare your lessons. You will have full support from your Head of Department and be expected to follow the school policies (potentially social distancing measures also). 

The successful candidate will:

  • Be a NQT or fully qualified Teacher with a specialist subject
  • Be flexible with your availability and provide the school with excellent lessons
  • Have excellent behaviour management and follow the schools behaviour policy
  • Be available for full time or part time positions in the local area
  • A Child Workforce DBS on the update service or willing to apply for one - details are below

Earn from GBP100 per day dependant on your experience. Teaching Personnel offer WEEKLY PAY and do not use Umbrella companies to process your payment. 

In order to work for Teaching Personnel and clear our vetting process, you must have a Child Workforce DBS subscribed to the Update Service. Full assistance will be provided should you need to apply for a new check, at a standard cost of GBP40, plus an annual subscription fee of GBP13 for the Update Service.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
