KS3/KS4 Teacher – SEMH Secondary School – Bournemouth
Full-Time | September 2025 Start | Long-Term Contract

Teaching Personnel is working closely with a specialist SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) secondary school in Bournemouth. The school caters to pupils in Key Stages 3 and 4 and offers a supportive, nurturing learning environment for students with a range of emotional and behavioural needs.

We are seeking a dynamic and flexible teacher to deliver a variety of subjects across KS3 and KS4. This is a full-time role starting in September, with the potential to become long-term for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons adapted to individual needs

  • Support pupils with SEMH in both academic and emotional development

  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture

  • Collaborate with support staff and SEN professionals

Requirements:

  • QTS/QTLS (or equivalent experience)

  • Confident in teaching across multiple subject areas

  • Experience working with SEMH or challenging behaviour (preferred)

  • Calm, resilient, and relationship-focused approach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
