Are you a confident, adaptable teacher ready to make a real impact across a variety of secondary classrooms?

We are seeking a dynamic and resilient Secondary School Supply Teacher to join our team and work across a range of schools in South Gloucestershire. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who thrives in diverse environments, is quick to build rapport with students, and can maintain high standards of learning even in challenging settings.

 What We're Looking For:

  • Strong behaviour management skills and the confidence to lead classrooms with authority and empathy.
  • A resilient and flexible mindset – someone who remains calm and proactive when faced with challenging behaviour or unfamiliar environments.
  • A genuine passion for teaching and the ability to deliver engaging, high-quality lessons across KS3 and KS4.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to quickly build positive relationships with students and staff.

 Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply for one).
  • Availability for short-notice bookings and a proactive attitude.

 We Offer:

  • Competitive daily rates.
  • Flexible working opportunities to suit your lifestyle.
  • Support from a dedicated and experienced team.
  • Access to a variety of schools, giving you valuable experience and exposure.
  • Opportunities for longer-term placements for the right candidates.
  • Our easy-to-use TP app lets you manage your own diary and preferences
  • No pressure – you choose the roles you want

Why Teachers Choose Us:

"I worked with Teaching Personnel Bristol for over a year. Their service has been exceptional to say the least. They proactively helped me seek supply work in and around Bristol, taking into account my needs and limitations (e.g. driving range). For schools that I enjoyed they helped me get repeat work. When I suggested that I would prefer small group tutoring they were also able to find me this work quickly. Sean was professional, proactive, friendly and very focused on the well-being of supply teachers. I have since recommended other teachers join TP if they want to transition into or seek temporary supply work. Highly recommend this agency."

If you are a resilient, reliable, and enthusiastic teacher who is ready to make a difference, we would love to hear from you.
