If so this exciting opportunity could be for you. We at Teaching Personnel are recruiting for a confident TA to work full time at a friendly secondary school based in the Sheffield full time from January. The successful candidate will be working with a range of students, supporting their needs alongside class teachers to ensure a positive learning environment.
No direct experience necessary. We are just looking for candidates who are enthusiastic about education as well as patient and understanding when in comes to children with SEN or SEHM issues.
Your responsibilities as a Teaching Assistant include but aren’t limited to:
- Ensuring pupils stay on task by managing disruptive behaviour
- Providing support to children on a 1:1 basis or in a group setting
- Safeguarding children
- Assisting the teacher in planning engaging lessons for the class in line with school policies
- Liaising with the class teacher and other support staff to provide the best support
All applicants will be required to have an enhanced DBS on the Update Service and at least 2 references from former employers.
Wage – £80 -£90 per day

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
