Teaching Personnel has current opportunities available for an Secondary Special Educational Needs, ( SEN)Teaching Assistant to join our team and make a difference to young peoples lives by delivering high quality education.

The Role

• Provide specialised support though targeted assistance with SEN, adapting learning materials and strategies to meet their individual needs.
• Track and monitor the progress of students, offering feedback to teachers, to ensure they are reaching key development milestones.
• Create a safe, structured, and nurturing environment, offering emotional support and guidance for students.
• Develop strong lines of communication with teachers, parents, and professionals involved in each students education, ensuring a holistic approach to their development.

Requirements

• Relevant work experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant, particularly with secondary age pupils.
• Strong empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for helping students develop and succeed.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work collaboratively within a team, adapting to meet the unique needs of every student.
