Secondary school teaching assistant

Teaching Personnel work with a number of schools in the Dorset area who are always looking for teaching assistants and support staff who can deliver targeted intervention to children who suffer from ADHD and ADD, or who have severe behavioral and emotional issues. We are currently offering day-to-day and shorter term temporary work placements as well as longer term work where you may be required to cover sustained periods of absence or maternity. For the right candidate, there is opportunity for these roles to develop into a full-time and permanent position. Our schools are looking for candidates that are flexible, positive, reliable and committed to the development of young people.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
