Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting a Maths Teacher on behalf of a unique school in the Portsmouth area to join their team from September 2024.

The school is a large building on a large premises with public transport nearby, parking on site or even free parking in the surrounding areas. The school thrive off of diversity and providing a safe space and a high-quality education to all students preparing them for their future.

The successful candidate will have an enthusiastic teaching ethic with great motivational skills and will be approachable and supportive of all students. They will be expected to prepare and deliver KS3 & 4 Maths lessons and keep students engaged within those lessons. The school will consider ECT's through to UPS 3.

The successful candidate will have:

-          Excellent Maths knowledge

-          Reliable and punctual

-          Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

-          Positive role model and supportive of all students

-          Positive school references 

-          An up-to-date DBS/willing to apply for an enhanced DBS

-          Open/willing to extend their knowledge via further training

-          Hold QTS (or equivalent education)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
