English Teachers Needed

Teaching Personnel are supporting a Secondary School in Huddersfield who are looking for an English Teacher to support across KS3 and KS4. 

The role itself focuses on:

  • Planning lessons in English at a basic Secondary level and an advanced GCSE level, teaching the set texts and written word of this core subject
  • Delivering exciting English lessons, catering to the diverse needs of students, while ensuring an inclusive and exciting learning environment, whilst also catering to the given curriculum.
  • Supporting students in their Learning as well as the engagement of the students in the subject whilst challenging them to reach further in their learning

The successful candidate will be flexible, have a minimum education level of an English Degree (in any Literary Relevant subject) and an in-date DBS on the update service, or be willing to apply for one at the point of consideration for the role. With a strong subject knowledge as well as a passion for English literature and language reaching to all skills and genres.
