Are you looking to step into the classroom and make a real difference in secondary education?


Teaching Personnel Nottingham is actively recruiting Cover Supervisors and Unqualified Teachers to support our vibrant network of secondary schools across Nottingham and the surrounding areas.

 

What we’re looking for:

  • Confident communicators who can manage a classroom setting

  • Individuals with experience working with young people (coaching, youth work, tutoring, etc.)

  • Graduates or aspiring teachers looking for classroom experience

  • Reliable, adaptable, and enthusiastic candidates ready to get involved

 

What you’ll do:

  • Deliver pre-prepared lessons in the absence of the regular teacher

  • Maintain a positive and focused classroom environment

  • Support student learning and behaviour management

  • Gain hands-on experience that could lead to a teaching career

Successful applicants will be asked to provide for the vetting process:

  • 1 proof of ID 
  • 2 proofs of current address
  • Right to work documents
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
  • A 10 year Career History 
  • References covering the last 24 months of work
  • A short CPD Onboarding course

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
