TP Tutors are looking for an experienced Science Teacher to deliver tuition in a well known high school in Durham (DH1), starting September 2023.
You will be responsible for delivering small group Science tuition to students, who are struggling to access full time education, helping them reach their full potential and reinteragrate into school.
The role:
- Deliver small group Science tuition
- Plan and prepare tuition sessions
- Complete post session reports for each group
- To start September 2023
- Part time (2 days per week)
The ideal candidate will have:
- A strong background in teaching Secondary Science up to GCSE
- QTS in secondary education
- An understanding and knowledge of the Science Curriculum
- Experience teaching small groups and the ability to create engaging lessons
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students
- A passion for helping students succeed and a commitment to their growth and development
As a tutor, you will play a crucial role in the success of the National Tutoring Programme and the students you work with.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
