Science Technician required - Wirral

A secondary school in the Wirral area are looking for a science technician to assist with preparations supporting within their science department. The successful science technician will be assisting science teachers with their classes providing resources and setting up practical lessons ready for teaching. Having knowledge of the scientific practical elements of science lessons would be highly beneficial and desirable but is not essential to the application of this role. The role of the science technician will involve not only setting up and clearing down practicals but ordering of resources on the school's online system. There will also be the opportunity to support within science lessons gaining more experience of teaching in this environment.

The successful science technician will ideally have prior experience of fulfilling the role of a science technician within a school environment or have experience of working within a laboratory. Any prior experience is highly desirable and should be outlined on your application accordingly.
