Job description

In partnership with a passionate Senior Leadership Team, we are looking for a qualified and experienced Science Technician to start in January 2021.

The ideal role for an enthusiastic and well organised Science Technician, looking to develop further skills in a specialist education setting. Are you interested in working in a supportive environment where no two days are the same and where teamwork is vital to the success of the school? If so, we want to hear from you!

Students at the school follow the national curriculum in Key Stages 2 and 3, with students going on to study Functional Skills, GCSE and AS/A level Key Stages 4 and 5. Your role will involve supporting teachers within the science department to inspire students of all abilities. We expect our staff to be reflective practitioners who can evaluate their own practice.

To be successful in this role, you must have one or more of the following:

  • Science-based Degree
  • A-Levels in Science
  • BTEC in Science

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
