Due to a gap in our client schools Science department from Easter, there is a need for a qualified Science teacher to join them for an open vacancy, with the opportunity to secure a permanent contract from September 2018.

- Modern facilities in well established secondary school

- Situated on the Oldham/Manchester border, near M60

- April 2018 start, full time Science teacher required

- Earn in line with teaching scale point (up to £38,633 per annum)

- Ofsted 'Good' Leadership and Management in most recent inspection

Our client school is a large, modern secondary school in Oldham with excellent public transport links from Manchester and surrounding LEAs, along with being in the vicinity of the M60 motorway for those who drive. The school has seen a recent climb in terms of attainment and progress, which can be accredited to school-wide changes in the standards of teaching and learning, and a strong climate for learning throughout. The behaviour and safety of students has seen consistent improvement in recent years which has pay dividends in ensuring all students are engaged with their studies.

"We're looking for a skilled Science teacher to join us from Easter, initially on a temporary basis for the summer term, though there is an opportunity for the right Science teacher to secure a permanent position with ourselves in the near future. We're open to all levels of experience and would happily support NQTs through their induction whilst with ourselves and there is no preference for the specialist area of Science. We do have expectancies that the incoming Science teacher will plan, mark and assess schemes of work for their groups"
