Science Teacher Needed - St Albans

Job description

Teaching Personnel are recruiting exclusively for a secondary school in St Albans who need a science teacher on a full time basis starting after October half term.

A specialism in Biology would be advatageous however all science specialists are welcome to apply. Science is a very popular subject within the school and across KS4 students either combined science or biology, chemistry or phsyics which is a continued popular choice into KS5.

The school has good GCSE and A Level results and achieved good Progress 8 scores. The school is located in central St Albans with good transport links into London.

This is a fixed term contract with the potential of the right candidate being offered a permanent contract after Easter. The school is committed to finding the best teachers and will support NQTs as well as people looking to build upon their career with a multitude of opportunities.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
