Due to an internal promotion within the faculty, the Head of Department is seeking a passionate Science Teacher to join their welcoming staff team, taking on full planning and marking responsibilities.

• Science Teacher – April 2020 or earlier.
• Full time opportunity teaching Science up KS4 level.
• All disciplines welcome to apply – Biology, Chemistry or Physics.
• Opportunity to work within an Ofsted graded ‘Good’ secondary school
• Pay in line with MPS/UPS GBP24, 373 - GBP40, 490.

The Science department has seen a rapid rise in terms of achievement, well in line with national averages. As the incoming candidate your roles and responsibilities will include quickly building positive working relationships with staff and pupils, continuing to promote the practice of outstanding teaching and learning as well as demonstrating a sound understanding of the new Science curriculum (1-9).

Located in the Eccles region of Salford, the school currently has just over 600 pupils enrolled aged 11-16. Salford is also easily accessible via the M602/A580 (East Lancashire Road). There is also an abundance of public transport options available local to school, with links across Greater Manchester.
