New prospect to join an over achieving Science department on a part-time basis in Bolton.

-          Part-time 0.6 Science teaching opportunity, September 2021 start or sooner if possible.

-          Large mixed comprehensive secondary school in Bolton.

-          Pay in line with teaching scale point – pro rata (GBP25,714 - GBP41,604).

-          Temporary teaching role until December 2021, with the opportunity to secure a permanent role from January 2022.

-          Teaching Science across Key Stage Three and GCSE.

The Head of Science at a large mixed comprehensive secondary school are in the process of recruiting for a part-time 0.6 Science teacher to join their Science department from September 2021 or sooner if possible. Due to a staffing restructure, the school have an open gap to welcome a Science teacher with experience delivering lessons across Key Stage Three and GCSE.

This position is available on a temporary basis in the first instance, and a permanent contract will be offered to the successful Science teacher from January 2022. The school are ideally looking to appoint a Science teacher with a proven track record of outstanding practice and positive results throughout their teaching career. Both experienced and newly qualified Science teachers are welcome to apply for this position, and the relevant support will be provided. Further to this, Science teachers of all specialisms are welcome to apply for this position.

Located in central Bolton, the school can easily be reached via the M60 and M61 motorways. There is also a direct route to the school from Bury and Bolton Road. For non-drivers, there are public transport links available from Salford and Bury that lead directly to the school.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
