Can you teach KS4 & KS4 Science?
Are you a specialist in teaching either Biology, Chemistry or Physics to KS5?

I am currently working on behalf of a secondary school in the NG18 postcode of Nottingham who are seeking a qualified teacher of Science to work full time at least until christmas. The desired teacher must be able to teach general science to KS4 and have a desire to teach children of all abilities.

The school follow 5 principles which all students should seek to abide by: Ambition, Integrity, Endeavour, Inclusivity and Resilience.

A recent OFSTED report highlighted 'The academy is a warm and welcoming place. With the support of the Chief Executive Officer for the trust, they have developed an academy that knows its pupils well. As a result, staff feel valued, pupils are increasingly confident and teaching is good.'

As a teacher within this role, you will be required to teach general science across KS3/4, as well as plan lessons and mark work so recent experience doing this is essential. The school have asked that the desired teacher is passionate about teaching and has strong behaviour management. NQT's are welcome to apply.

Overview:

  • KS3/4 Science
  • Full time starting ASAP until Christmas (potentially longer)
  • Pay in line with your teacher pay scale
  • NG19 postcode

All candidates MUST have:

  • A Teaching qualification with Science specialism (QTS/QTLS/PGCE)
  • The right to work within the UK
  • The ability to provide two references from your most recent employers
  • A child only workforce DBS reigistered to the update service
