Science Teacher

We are seeking a Science Teacher to join the Science department at a partner school based in Colne. We are looking for a candidate who is seeking a permanent position starting in September 2021.

The incoming teacher will be able to deliver KS3 science. An ideal candidate will specialise in delivering either Chemistry or Physics at GCSE level. For a suitable candidate there may be the opportunity to deliver at A-level.

The science department has consistently shown outstanding results an the successful candidate will be able to maintain these high standards. The school is an over-subscribed 11-18 provision with a thriving community feel and supportive atmosphere. Situated in an easily accessible location, there are excellent public transport links and easy access to the M65.

Candidates considering this role should:

-          Hold QTS and relevant degree (2:2 or above)

-          Be able to evidence “Good/Outstanding” teaching practice

-          Be available for a full time role starting in September 2021
