Science Teacher - Bolton

Are you a Science Teacher looking for a new role starting in January 2020?

Teaching Personnel are working alongside a Secondary Academy in Bolton, aiding them in recruiting a new Science Teacher.

Please see further information below:

  • Full-time role starting in January 2020 until the end of the academic year.
  • Both experienced and newly qualified teachers are welcome to apply for this position as all relevant induction support will be provided.
  • Must hold specific subject qualifications in Science.
  • Teaching across Key Stage Three and GCSE.
  • Pay in line with teaching scale point (£23,720 - £39,406 per annum).

Working as a Science Teacher in our client Academy, responsibilities will include assessing and evaluating student's progress and reporting this back to Senior Teachers in order to take appropriate action to ensure pupils meet their aims and objectives. Candidates will also be expected to support with the development of Schemes of Work in line with the National Curriculum for Science alongside planning, preparing and delivering Science lessons to meet the needs of students at various levels of learning.

Our client Secondary Academy is looking for a Science teacher who can aid pupils' attainment alongside providing behaviour management skills. Any experience with behaviour management training, challenging behaviour or learning difficulties will be highly valued however; our client Academy does provide excellent behavioural support for their staff.

Our client Academy is located in Bolton and can be accessed via the M61 and A676 from surrounding areas such as Bury and Salford. For non-drivers, there are several public transportation links from surrounding areas including Bury, Salford and central Manchester.
