Science Teacher needed on full time basis in Cheshire East secondary school.

Our partner school in Wilmslow have advised us they’re seeking to bring on a Science Teacher on a full time, temp-to-perm basis as soon as possible. The role will initially be temporary with the right candidate being offered a full school contract.

Candidate requirements for this position:

• Qualified Teacher Status in the UK (QTS)
• Experience teaching science up to GCSE level in UK secondary schools
• Ability to carry out full departmental responsibilities
• Child workforce DBS certificate on the update service/ eligibility to apply for one
• School based references with no safeguarding or disciplinary concerns

The role will involve teaching Science to classes in KS3 and KS4 in this well rated in the heart of the Tameside area. This opportunity is deal for candidates local to Wilmslow, Handforth, Alderley Edge and the surrounding areas.

The successful candidate will be given full departmental responsibilities including lesson planning and marking and will be expected to engage fully in staff meetings and with parents/ carers/ guardians.
