Are you a passionate Science Teacher looking for a new opportunity from September? Teaching Personnel is working with a supportive and welcoming secondary school in Weymouth that is looking to appoint an enthusiastic Science Teacher to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated teacher who is passionate about inspiring students and helping them develop a strong understanding of scientific concepts. The successful candidate will join a collaborative department and play an important role in supporting students to achieve their academic potential.
The Role
As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for:

Planning and delivering engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4.

Creating an inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and participation.
-
Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of students with varying abilities.
-
Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback.
-
Maintaining high standards of behaviour and achievement.
-
Developing positive relationships with students and colleagues.
-
Working collaboratively with the wider Science department.
-
Contributing to the wider life of the school where appropriate.
The Ideal Candidate
The successful Science Teacher will ideally:
-
Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
-
Have experience teaching Science within a secondary school.
-
Have strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for Science.
-
Demonstrate effective classroom and behaviour management skills.
-
Be able to engage, motivate and challenge students.
-
Have a positive, flexible and professional approach.
-
Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
