Science Teacher

A secondary school in Tidworth is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Science Teacher to join their team from September 2025. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and well-structured science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4

• Plan and assess learning in line with the national curriculum and departmental schemes of work

• Foster curiosity, critical thinking, and scientific enquiry in the classroom

• Support the progress of students of all abilities through effective teaching and targeted intervention

• Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation and achievement

• Contribute to the ongoing development of the science department, including curriculum planning and extracurricular activities

• Participate in staff meetings, parent consultations, and school events as required

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification

• Have a strong subject knowledge in science, with a specialism in biology, chemistry, or physics

• Demonstrate excellent classroom management and communication skills

• Be passionate about teaching and committed to continuous professional development

• Work effectively as part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team
