Are you a qualified and passionate Science Teacher who thrives in a nurturing, pupil-centred environment?

We are seeking an engaging and resilient educator to teach in a forward-thinking alternative provision supporting students aged 11 to 16 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

This role is part-time from September 2025, with the flexibility to start earlier and the potential to increase to full-time.

Working hours are 8.30am to 3pm, Monday to Friday during term time.

  • Passionate staff team committed to student wellbeing and achievement

This is a fantastic opportunity to teach Science in a way that is tailored to individual learning needs and helps disengaged pupils reconnect with education.

The Role

You will deliver engaging and accessible KS3 and entry-level Science content, using practical approaches and real-world relevance to support pupils’ academic and personal progress.

You’ll work alongside pastoral and behaviour teams to foster a safe and consistent classroom experience where every young person can feel valued and supported.
