Join Teaching Personnel as a Science Tutor
Are you passionate about helping students unlock their potential in Science?
We’re looking for skilled and dedicated Science tutors across Mansfield and Nottinghamshire to support young learners in developing their knowledge and confidence.
Whether you’re a qualified science teacher or an experienced private tutor, this is your chance to make a real impact—one lesson at a time.
Your Role Will Include:

Delivering one-to-one and small group Science tuition tailored to each student’s needs

Helping students build subject knowledge, practical skills, and exam confidence

Adapting your approach to suit different learning styles and abilities

Providing clear feedback and tracking student progress
We’re Looking For:

Experience tutoring or teaching Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics)
-
A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, Cert Ed) is advantageous
-
Strong communication and lesson planning skills
-
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service—or willingness to apply

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
