Exciting opportunity to join a Science department within a large secondary school, known for its developing progress in school performance tables.

  • Full-time Science teacher.
  • Required to start in September 2022 or earlier.
  • Paid in line with teaching scale - £25,714 - £41,604.
  • Supporting pupils aged 11-16.
  • Secondary school based in North Manchester.

Our client secondary school is known for its welcoming staff community and excellent behavioural support. The school has a recently refurbished Science department with modern facilities and laboratories.

The incoming teacher will be expected to take on full planning and marking responsibilities and teach a full timetable across Key Stage 3 and GCSE. The successful applicant will be required to plan, prepare and deliver differentiated Science lessons to students at varying levels of learning ability. To be considered for this position, you must have QTS and a specialism in Science.

Our client secondary school is based in North Manchester with around 1000 pupils on roll. The school can be accessed via the M60 and Oldham Road for candidates who drive, from surrounding areas. For candidates on public transport, the school has excellent links to neighbouring areas such as Middleton, Failsworth and Oldham town centre.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
