Science Teacher – Biology Specialist

Teaching Personnel are working in conjunction with an ‘Outstanding’ secondary school in Central Manchester, looking to appoint an experienced Science Teacher, who is a Biology specialist.

You will be responsible for teaching Science at Key Stages 3 and Biology at both KS4 and KS5. You will be an outstanding teacher, delivering consistently good and outstanding lessons, an excellent team player with the highest standards of professionalism and expectations of students. You will have up to date subject knowledge and a track record of success in maximising student progress across all key stages, particularly KS5.

The ideal Science Teacher we are looking for will;

• Have experience teaching Biology to KS3-5 students

• Be passionate about teaching Science

• Be available to start a full time teaching role in January

• Be able to produce innovative, creative and interactive lesson plans

• Have a child workforce only DBS on the update service

Our client school is located in the Centre of Manchester, situated just off the M60, with excellent public transport links making it easy to access the secondary school.
