Science Teacher – Secondary School

 

Location: Havant, Hampshire

Start Date: September 2026

Key Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, effective and inspiring Science lessons across KS3 and KS4 levels
  • Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Contribute to the wider life of school and the development of the Science department

 

The Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
  • FQT and ECT considered for this role
  • Have high expectations of student achievement and behaviour
  • Have the ability to inspire and motivate students
  • Be enthusiastic, resourceful and committed to supporting student progress

 

Working Hours & Benefits

  • Full-time, Monday-Friday
  • Term-time only
  • Holiday pay

  • Temporary to Permanent position

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
