We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in the heart of Hartlepool. This is an excellent opportunity to inspire the next generation of scientists in a supportive and forward-thinking educational environment.

What We’re Looking For:

• A degree in a science-related subject (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or Combined Science).

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent teaching qualification.

• A genuine enthusiasm for science and a strong commitment to student success.

• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

• Experience teaching Key Stages 3 and 4 (desirable but not essential).

• A proactive, positive, and student-centred approach to teaching.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality science lessons that cater to diverse learning needs.

• Foster a classroom environment that promotes curiosity, critical thinking, and academic achievement.

• Assess, track, and report on student progress, offering targeted support where needed.

• Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative curriculum resources and teaching strategies.

• Maintain effective classroom management to ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment.
