Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in the heart of Hartlepool. This is an excellent opportunity to inspire the next generation of scientists in a supportive and forward-thinking educational environment.
What We’re Looking For:

A degree in a science-related subject (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or Combined Science).

QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
-
A genuine enthusiasm for science and a strong commitment to student success.
-
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
-
Experience teaching Key Stages 3 and 4 (desirable but not essential).

A proactive, positive, and student-centred approach to teaching.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality science lessons that cater to diverse learning needs.

Foster a classroom environment that promotes curiosity, critical thinking, and academic achievement.

Assess, track, and report on student progress, offering targeted support where needed.

Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative curriculum resources and teaching strategies.

Maintain effective classroom management to ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
