Science Teacher – Exeter
Contract Type: Full-Time / Long-Term
Key Stages: KS3 & KS4

Teaching Personnel are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher to join a secondary school in the. This is a full-time role teaching KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to inspire and motivate students across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.

The Role

As a Science Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across the Science curriculum at KS3 and KS4.

  • Support students of varying abilities to progress and achieve their potential.

  • Assess, track, and provide constructive feedback on student work.

  • Contribute to the development of the Science department, sharing best practice and resources.

  • Promote curiosity, critical thinking, and a love for Science both in and out of the classroom.


What We’re Looking For

We are looking for a teacher who:

  • Holds QTS (Qualifed Teacher Status) or is working towards this.

  • Has experience teaching Science at secondary school level.

  • Can inspire, motivate, and engage learners in the subject.

  • Demonstrates strong classroom management and organisational skills.

  • Is committed to raising attainment and fostering a positive learning environment.

Location: Exeter
Start Date: To be confirmed (long-term, full-time role)
Salary: Competitive – dependent on experience

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
