Science Teacher – Exeter

Location: Exeter
Job Type: Full Time / Part Time Opportunities Available
Start Date: September 2026

Teaching Personnel are looking for passionate and dedicated Science Teachers to work across a number of our partner secondary schools in the Exeter area.

This is an ideal opportunity for a Science Teacher looking for variety and the chance to work within different school environments while developing their teaching experience.

The Role

  • Teach Science across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Deliver engaging and practical lessons.
  • Support students in developing their scientific knowledge and understanding.
  • Plan lessons effectively in line with the curriculum.
  • Monitor and assess student progress.
  • Establish positive relationships with students.
  • Maintain strong classroom and behaviour management.
  • Work across different school settings depending on placement requirements.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience.
  • A degree or relevant qualification in Science.
  • Experience teaching Science within a secondary school.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Passionate about Science and education.
  • Adaptable and confident working across different schools.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
