Science Teacher – Secondary School, Dorchester

Start Date: September

Are you a passionate and inspiring Science Teacher looking for your next opportunity? Our thriving secondary school in Dorchester is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher to join our Science department from September.

We are looking for an individual who can bring energy, creativity and a commitment to helping students develop a genuine curiosity about the world around them. You will join a supportive team of teachers who are passionate about delivering high-quality lessons and encouraging students to achieve their full potential.

The role will involve:

  • Teaching Science across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with the opportunity to teach A Level for the right candidate)

  • Planning and delivering engaging, practical and challenging lessons

  • Inspiring students through a love of scientific discovery and enquiry

  • Supporting students’ academic progress and personal development

  • Contributing positively to the wider life of the school

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is an enthusiastic and committed Science specialist

  • Has high expectations and a passion for raising achievement

  • Can create a positive and inclusive learning environment

  • Is a strong team player with excellent communication skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
