Job Title: Science Teacher – Secondary Schools
Location: Camberley, Surrey
Start Date: September 2025 (or earlier if available)
Contract Type: Temporary or Permanent
Salary: Daily rate of £140 -£170 Depending on experience

We are working with a range of excellent secondary schools in the Camberley area that are looking to appoint skilled Science Teachers for both temporary and permanent roles. Whether your specialism is Biology, Chemistry, Physics—or you're a generalist across all sciences—we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons to students across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 teaching available in some schools)

Inspire curiosity and a love of science through practical experiments and interactive teaching methods

Monitor and assess student progress, tailoring support to individual learning needs

Contribute to curriculum development and the wider science department

Participate in the pastoral and extracurricular life of the school
What You’ll Need:
-
UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent

Experience teaching Science in UK secondary schools (including ECTs with strong placement references)

Sound knowledge of the science curriculum and strong classroom management skills

A passion for education and a commitment to helping students succeed

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
